Dear friends,

we are very happy to welcome you as our guests in May, during your stay at the "Harmonie Festival". We hope to get a chance to interact und build up a friendship as well. We would like to give you some information about us:

We will welcome you in our village "Hasselbach". Hasselbach is part of the council of "Weilrod" near Frankfurt/Main in the middle of Germany (Hesse). The region around Hasselbach is called "Taunus". The Taunus is one of the most attractive places in Germany with its picturesque small villages, wooded hills and friendly inhabitants. The distance to the Harmonie Festival is about 15 kilometer (c. 30 minutes).

Your host will be the male choir "Eintracht Hasselbach" ("Eintracht" means "harmony"). The choir with its 36 singers is the oldest club in Hasselbach and was founded in 1882. The choir is well-known in the region and the singers have presented quality choir music for nearly 125 years, the repertoire covers all periods of vocal music. It covers (beside German) also vocal music in Latin, French, Swedish and at the moment we work hard to present you an English song. We have acquired a good reputation throughout a lot of concerts and national choir competitions and we are happy to have been awarded several prices. We have been sucessfully conducted by Mr Andreas Jung for 16 years. Andreas Jung is also assistent conductor of Harmonie Lindenholzhausen and one of the organizers of the Harmonie Festival.

Chairman of the Eintracht is Mr Werner Jeck. Mr Jeck is your first adress for all questions regarding your stay in Hasselbach and you can contact him at the following email account: Werner.Jeck@mgv-eintracht.de

All members of the Eintracht are happy to welcome "De La Salle Voices" in May and we are looking forward to making new friends!
